Two Day Printmaking Summer Art Camp July 20th & 21st

The Studio is running a fun and creative two-day summer art camp designed especially for children aged 6–12, with a focus on printmaking. Across two engaging days (with the option to choose one day only), young artists will explore a variety of hands-on printmaking techniques, experimenting with how images can be transferred, repeated, and transformed.

Children will explore relief printing by carving or pressing into soft materials to create bold shapes and patterns, as well as mono-printing, where they’ll paint and draw directly onto surfaces to produce one-of-a-kind prints. They’ll also experiment with layering colours, creating textures using everyday objects, and building up designs through repetition to see how simple marks can turn into striking artwork.

With step-by-step guidance in a relaxed and supportive environment, this camp is perfect for children who love art, it is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, try new techniques, and enjoy getting creative.
